What to do if you think you might have COVID-19

If you think you have COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, please call your local Doctor (general practice) or Healthline on 0800 358 5453. Do not visit your GP without calling first and please do not visit your local accident & emergency or hospital if you have COVID-19 symptoms. To get a COVID-19 test, visit your nearest community testing centre.

As Auckland remains in Alert Level 3, please remain vigilant about keeping yourself and your whānau safe by using the COVID-19 Tracer App and following hand hygiene standards to ensure that we are all protected against the spread of viruses.

Getting care from your Doctor at Alert Level 3

As the Auckland region stays at Alert Level 3, practices are still open and ready to support you. Please note that appointments may be done virtually (by phone or video). Please do not hold off from contacting your local doctor (general practice) if you are feeling unwell. It's important that you contact your GP first before visiting.
